Abstract:Abstract: On the night of December 18, 2023, an earthquake of Ms 6.2 occurred in Jieshishan County, Gansu Province, at a depth of 10 Km..The earthquake caused different level of damage to houses in the epicenter area and induced a large number of co-seismic landslides, which resulted in serious casualties and economic losses. Analyzing the damage ratio and damage characteristics of different structural houses is of great significance to the post-disaster emergency rescue and housing reconstruction and resettlement work. Based on the existing literature, combined with high-precision remote sensing data and field survey data, we carried out the characterization of the damage analysis of the houses in this earthquake. The results show that the damage of houses and structures in the earthquake center was most serious in Dahejia Town, followed by Shiyuan Town, Liuji Town, Liugou Town, etc. The damage ratio of earth and wood structure houses in the VIII degree area is more than 90%, with collapse as the main form of damage; the damage ratio of brick and wood structure houses is about 75%, with serious damage as the main form of damage; the damage ratio of brick and mixed structure houses is about 45%, with large difference in damage, with medium damage or slight damage as the main form of damage, and very serious structural damage occurred in individual brick and mixed structure houses; and the infill wall of the frame structure houses produced a large number of cracks and shear breakage. shear breakage. Based on the first-hand data after the earthquake, we analyzed and discussed the damage characteristics and features of different structural types of houses, the damage ratio of houses, and the seismic geological hazards and hidden dangers after the earthquake, with a view to providing certain references for the post-disaster reconstruction of houses, the investigation of post-earthquake intensity, and the assessment of seismic emergency response.
